I am a fully qualified acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) (www.acupuncture.org.uk) with a practice in Lewes and London. I became a licensed acupuncturist in 2005 after a 3.5 year full-time course in both TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and 5-Element Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. I have a special interest and post-graduate training in acupuncture for fertility and pregnancy.

I am passionate about building contacts within the medical and independent birthing community to improve women’s experience of birth and raise awareness of the benefits of pre-birth and post-natal acupuncture. I would like to see more women preparing for their births to ensure more enjoyable pregnancies and better post-natal outcomes.

I am also a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN) (www.acupuncture-fertility.org). The AFN is a special interest group for acupuncturists dedicated to supporting men and women with fertility problems. Group members are committed to on-going post-graduate study through Continuing Professional Development. My London practice is the base for the Natural Natal Centre (www.thennc.org). We provide coordinated, packages of holistic and complementary health care for men and women seeking help with fertility and support throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
